Design for Quality and Reliability Course.

The Danish SPM ERFA 6 group for Reliability has initiated the development of the course on "Design for Quality and Reliability."
The course has been held 18 times, partly as a closed company courses for Nokia, Vestas and as Open Courses with the following teachers:

 

  • Valter Loll , Scientist, Quality and Reliability Development.  Valter Loll is from Copenhagen and Nokia has over 30 years experience in the subject

  • Morten Løgstrup, Reliability Scientist and Six Sigma BB, Nokia. Morten has 15 years experience.

  • Peter de Place Rimmen, Senior Specialist Robustness & Reliability and Six Sigma GB.
    Peter has 23 years experience in quality and reliability and a total of 37 years in product development

Course Objectives:

Course overall goal is to give participants an overview of modern methods of product development with a focus on quality and reliability.

After the course a participant should have obtained such an understanding and insight into these methods so that:

- Project managers and team leaders understand how the quality and reliability are included in decisions regarding cost; schedules and specifications and the analysis and ratios can be used to control the quality and reliability in product development.

- Designers and programmers familiar with the tools and tests to ensure quality and reliability of a new product while saving time and money.

- Specialists in testing, quality and reliability will know how they can positively contribute to the development of products with the right quality and reliability in compliance with the schedules and budgets.

- All staff can communicate with management on quality and reliability implications of decisions in product development

- He / she have been a foundation for continued development of its own expertise in the field.

 

 

Audience:

Project managers, Group leaders, Designers, Programmers and Test- and Reliability-Specialists

Prerequisites: 
As a minimum, the student should have completed a higher technician training.

Teaching material is in English.

Teaching will be in English, unless everybody understands Danish.
